^Lot 1612 WWII GERMAN RLB 2ND MODEL OFFICER'S DAGGER.

A good late WWII German 2nd model RLB officer's dagger with an overall length of 15 1/2". Plain blade with no makers mark. Nickel plated eagle crossguard with disk-like pommel. Blue leather wrapped grip with central enameled Luftschutz star. Blue leather covered scabbard with nickel plated mounts. CONDITION: blade has some original factory polish. Hilt shows light wear and the black enameled star has lost much of its plating. Scabbard leather has been coated with a substance in the past which has caused it to have an "alligatored" finish.
